A family member is working on an Irish wedding dress using crochet motifs made by friends and family. These are my first two contributions. Hopefully more to come when I become more proficient with a tiny hook!
The one on the left is a sunflower motif. The one with the black background is a square flower motif. I was surprised that it was as easy as it was considering the size of the hook.
This is a knit child’s cowl neck pullover which I made for my 1 year old granddaughter. I purchased the pattern from Heidi May at The Velvet Acorn.
It looks better on and in person. Heidi has some of the most beautiful designs I’ve seen. You can see many of them in her Etsy shop.
I had a bit of a struggle with the cowl part because it was my first time using circular needles. Now that I’ve used them I want to use them all the time!
UPDATE: I just got a photo of Avie wearing the pullover!
She seems to like it 🙂
