Chelsea fingerless crochet gloves

Furry Fingerless gloves

These are so easy to crochet and you can adjust the pattern to fit any wrist/hand size! Although I haven’t tried it you can easily use any weight yarn as long as you make your beginning chain fit your wrist.

materials

1 skein Poems Silk (Wisdom Yarns) worsted weight
1 skein Flash (faux fur) by Plymouth
size H crochet hook
yarn needle for finishing off

Start: ch 28 (or however many will wrap around your upper wrist loosely)
Join with a slip stitch to form a circle by inserting your hook into the first chain.

rnd 1: sc in loops (27 sts)
sc around until you have the measurement you want. About 6″.  Measure from your upper wrist to the base of your thumb.
You can work the beginning of each round if you wish.

When you’ve reached the length you want (to your thumb) then ch3 and skip 8 sts to make the thumb hole, sc evenly (including the ch3) for about 7 rnds or until you reach the length you want.
Slip stitch and fasten off.

Creating the thumb
Attach yarn to any stitch inside the thumb hole. SC evenly around (including the chain you created) for 3-4 rounds.
Slip stitch and fasten off
