finish off

With strand A & B attach yarn at front (row 1 is on your right side with the curve of the scarf downwards) where the chain meets the scarf.  Sc across the top of the scarf only. Sl st to back of work, finish off.

Button:

With (3) 42” long strands of color C held together using your K hook, ch 4 leaving a long enough tail for finishing. Sc in 3rd chain from hook, ch 1, sc around twice, sl st to opposite side to make a ball, pull tail through loop. Using a needle, bring the yarn through to the first tail.

Attach button to scarf by pulling both sets of tails through the front  to the back of the piece and up to the front  again through the button and down to the back of the piece again.( this will help secure the button). Tie tails together  in the back and finish off.
